Join Us

Become part of our inspiring and thriving network by joining as a Full, Provisional or Supporter/Associate member. If you are not quite ready then you can join as an aspiring member and we can give you support.

Membership of DTAS also means that our grass roots experience is used to inform and shape the policies of national government, key funders and other important decision makers.

Joining is simple:

  • For Full or Provisional membership, check your organisation against the Membership Eligibility Criteria, and have your governing documents and most recent Annual Accounts or financial statement ready for uploading in the application form.
  • On receipt of a Full or Provisional application, DTAS will send a confirmation e-mail and contact you to arrange a membership assessment meeting. This may be face to face, or online. (Membership assessment is not required for Associate/Supporter applicants.)
  • Confirmation of membership will be confirmed in writing, enclosing a membership certificate, welcome pack and invoice, if applicable.
We’ve found membership of DTA Scotland incredibly useful, in particular the opportunity to network with and learn from other communities across Scotland.
