What this covers
DTAS membership includes access to professional advice on key areas that support organisational resilience — HR, legal, finance, communications and mediation. We’ve negotiated free initial consultations with trusted partners, and discounted rates for further support. We also provide broker services to help members find the best deals on insurance and energy contracts. To access any of these services, simply contact your Member Support Advisor.
Free professional advice

- Legal Advice — Brodies LLP1 hour of free initial legal advice on governing documents, contracts, charity law, employment issues, property and more. Further support available at agreed rates.
- Finance Advice — Azets1 hour of free initial advice on accounts, bookkeeping, VAT, charity compliance, governance, tax planning, business planning and payroll. Further support available at agreed rates.
- Communications Support — Emerald AgencyFree 45-minute discovery call to discuss your communications needs. Further support available at discounted rates.
- Mediation — Three SidesFree discovery call to explore mediation as a way to resolve disputes or difficult relationships. Further support available at agreed rates.

- Insurance — Keegan & PennykidBespoke insurance advice and market search to find the best deals. Covers all areas of insurance as your organisation grows.
- Energy — TouchstoneBroker service for energy contracts — market search for best deals and support reclaiming VAT (charities entitled to 5% VAT relief).
Member discounts
- Xero Accounting SoftwareDiscounted access to Xero accounting software. Use the DTAS member referral link to sign up and get the discount automatically.
