DTAS Member Support Service Evaluation Findings
In March 2025, DTAS undertook a comprehensive review of our Member Support Service to ensure it continues to align with your evolving needs and priorities. We’re pleased to now share the DTAS Member Support Service Evaluation Report, which provides insight into how our services are being used, what members value most, and where we can do more.
We were heartened by the overwhelmingly positive response to the survey:
- 100% of respondents would recommend working with DTAS and feel that membership offers good value for money.
- The most valued support included one-to-one advice from our Development Officers, access to training and expert knowledge, and opportunities to connect with peers through networking events.
- Members also recognised our advocacy efforts and the power of our collective network, particularly when responding to sector-wide challenges.
That said, the report also highlights areas for improvement. You told us you’d like:
- More targeted support around funding, including help identifying and applying for opportunities.
- Greater access to mentorship and regular check-ins.
- Clearer communication on DTAS’s policy work, as well as updates via a more consistent newsletter.
We are already acting on this feedback—updating our resources, improving the members’ area of the DTAS website, and planning regular briefings through our quarterly newsletter.
